"It's Domestic" is a project that presents Puerto Rico as a viable option for work and collaboration with the US mainland, highlighting the important factors that make the collaboration a “national” one: National Calls, Domestic Shipping, Domestic Flights, and US Citizenship.

To represent the multifaceted relationship between Puerto Rico and the mainland, I focus on the concept of "domestic" in its dual meanings: both the legal connection and the familiar elements of home. Through evocative imagery, the project transforms these domestic objects into metaphors for belonging, highlighting what is one's own, near and dear, and familiar, while simultaneously referencing the legal and political ties that bind the two regions.
